Bauer S26 PERF JOCK PANT Youth Jock

Bauer S26 PERF JOCK PANT Youth Jock is a pant that keeps small legs covered from waist to ankle, with the jock already inside and Bauer's HeiQ Fresh technology working against odour. For a young player on the ice at seven in the morning, that full-length layer makes a real difference.

Little ones feel the cold faster than adults, and a chilly child on the bench is not a happy child. A pant puts fabric between skin and shin guards, so the gear is not cold and hard against bare legs when they first stand up, and the whole lower half goes on in one go. Fewer pieces also means fewer tears in the dressing room when the clock is ticking. Four velcro tabs catch the socks, and the cup sits in its own pocket behind an internal velcro closure, with leg loops keeping the jock where it belongs.

Then there is HeiQ Fresh, whose recycled amino sugar polymer gets to work on smelly molecules naturally, so the pant can go longer between washes without turning sour. Pop it in the machine after a few sessions anyway; a fresh layer is a lot easier to coax a sleepy child into.
