Bauer S22 PERF JOCK SHORT Youth Jock

Bauer S22 PERF JOCK SHORT Youth Jock is the answer for every parent who has watched their little one skate a lap with a hockey sock slowly sliding down to the ankle. This black performance jock short, with a Bauer logo on the waistband, has sock tabs on the legs, so the socks stay up and the jock, with its protective cup included, stays where it belongs.

At the youth level, independence is a big deal. The reinforced hook-and-loop adjusters with Hypalon tabs are simple enough for small hands, so after a few weeks most kids can attach their own socks while you lace skates. It is one of those moments when a young player starts to feel like part of the team rather than someone being dressed.

When buying, think about the season ahead rather than today. Children change size quickly, and a short that fits snugly in September should still let them crouch, sit and stand without tugging at the waistband by spring. Bring it along to a fitting session if your child is between sizes. Flatlock seams cut down on chafing, and HeiQ Fresh keeps the smell in check until wash day.
