CCM S24 JOCK Junior Jock

CCM S24 JOCK Junior Jock is the piece you buy when your teenager has outgrown the old jock but everything else in the bag still fits. No shorts, no garters, just a classic jock with its cup included, on a black waistband with a red CCM logo and red trim, which makes it the easiest kind of replacement there is.

At this age, a lot of players already have base layers or socks with tabs they are happy with, and a standalone jock slots right in underneath. It also gives them a little more say in how they set up their gear, which teenagers tend to appreciate. A hook-and-loop pouch keeps the cup stable, and double-stitched thigh straps hold the whole thing in position.

One habit worth passing on: put the jock on first and make sure the waistband lies flat before anything goes over it. A twisted band will dig in by the second period and become the only thing they can think about. Wash it regularly, too, because protection only helps if it actually gets worn.
