Blue Sports Interceptor Senior Ice Hockey Neck Guard

Blue Sports Interceptor Senior Ice Hockey Neck Guard is a no-fuss collar for players who want their neck covered without a bulky band around the throat. The lightweight, breathable spandex hides an exclusive D3O® impact-protective insert, thin yet built to absorb a hit, and the fabric is cut and slash resistant. Black, with an orange Blue Sports logo, it closes with adjustable velcro and stays out of the way.

It's a smart pick as a spare, too. Anyone who has played adult hockey for a while knows the moment – you're lacing up, you reach into the bag, and the neck guard is at home drying on the radiator. Keeping a second collar tucked into a side pocket solves that once and for all. And if you're new to the game and building your first full kit, it's an easy, sensible place to start.

Put it on before the jersey and take a quick look in the mirror: the D3O® insert should sit evenly around the throat, not twisted off to one side.
