CCM S24 PRO Neck Junior Ice Hockey Neck Guard

CCM S24 PRO Neck Junior Ice Hockey Neck Guard, from CCM's S24 line, takes a slightly different approach from a regular collar: the slim band around the neck is joined by elastic loops that go under the arms. Those loops are the clever bit. Junior players are always moving – crouching for faceoffs, diving after loose pucks, jumping over the boards on a line change – and a collar with nothing holding it down tends to drift.

With the loops in place, the collar stays where it's supposed to, so there's less fiddling with it on the bench and more attention left for the coach's whiteboard.

Because the profile is slim, it sits comfortably under a jersey without adding bulk at the neckline. When fitting, slip the arms through the loops first, then settle the collar around the neck – once your player has done it a couple of times, it takes about ten seconds.
