Bauer WRISTGUARD Senior Hockey Wrist Guard

Bauer WRISTGUARD Senior Hockey Wrist Guard is a pair of terry cloth wristbands for players who like their gloves short in the cuff. A short cuff frees up the wrist for quick hands and a sharper release, but it also leaves a strip of bare forearm between glove and elbow pad, right where sticks tend to land in board battles and on the forecheck.

These Bauer bands slide on over that gap. They are deliberately simple: no straps, no fuss, just a soft terry band with the Bauer logo and moulded polyethylene inserts inside, which help reduce the risk of wrist injuries where a short-cuff glove stops. Terry also feels pleasant against the skin on a long shift.

Pull them on after your elbow pads and before your gloves, so the band sits under the edge of the glove instead of riding up. Wash them with your base layer after games so they stay fresh for the next skate.
