Vaughn VX1 PRO Senior Goalie Knee Protectors

Vaughn VX1 PRO Senior Goalie Knee Protectors are Vaughn's flagship knee and thigh guards, built for adult goalies who play at a high level and spend long sessions dropping into the butterfly. Three molded pieces are joined by hinges, giving full flexibility, and they overlap so the knee and lower thigh stay covered from every angle.

The HDPE components disperse the shock of hard shots that sneak into the gap between pad and pant. On the outside, Clarino synthetic leather handles constant contact with the ice; on the inside of the knee, a suede Clarino surface adds grip. The large double shield can be tuned with laces.

For security there are three adjustable straps, a top thigh strap lined with urethane grip strips, a lower knee retention strap and a waist attachment for a garter belt. If you play several times a week, check the laces and straps now and then, as they take the most wear.
