Vaughn VKP SLR2 Intermediate Goalie Knee Protectors

Vaughn VKP SLR2 Intermediate Goalie Knee Protectors are the second generation of Vaughn's SLR knee guard in Intermediate size, made for goalies who have grown past junior gear but are not yet in adult sizes. The four-section construction lets the knee bend freely, while the wrap-around design protects both the inside and the outside of the leg.

A padded retention strap at the lower leg, which Vaughn fits to the Pro and Intermediate versions, anchors the bottom of the guard so it stays straight when you push across the crease. The other four straps are adjustable, and the uppermost one carries urethane grip strips.

Inside, added knee cushioning and HDPE molded parts handle landings and shots, and the nylon shell resists wear. Because the profile is low, the guards sit close under goalie pants and leave room for the knee block of the leg pad.
