Description / Bauer GARTER Intermediate Garter Belt
Bauer GARTER Intermediate Garter Belt is the fix for a gap many families run into around the age of twelve or thirteen: the junior belt suddenly feels snug, yet a senior one hangs loose on the hips. It is the same standard Bauer garter belt for securely holding up socks, in the Intermediate size made for exactly that stage.
A black belt with clip-end straps, simple enough for a player to dress without help in a crowded locker room before a tournament game. The belt should sit low and snug around the hips, with each strap running straight down to the top of the sock; a strap pulling at an angle twists the sock with every stride.
Growth spurts are hard on any hockey family, and the garter belt is one of the easier pieces to get right. Check the fit each time the shin guards or pants are replaced, because a belt that felt fine in September can feel different by spring.
