The updated 2026 Mystique combines a light Support Rating of 10 with a premium microfiber upper and a redesigned rolled collar that adds comfort around the Achilles area without making the boot unnecessarily stiff. A soft synthetic liner, padded tongue, and controlled Flex Notch construction help young skaters work naturally through the ankle and knee, while the Ultima Mark IV blade provides a suitable platform for learning edge control, turns, and introductory figure skating elements.

Boot / Support: The JA1491 has a Support Rating of 10, providing light structural support for beginner figure skaters while retaining the flexibility required for natural knee and ankle movement.
