Jackson S26 JA1491 Mystique Youth Figure Skates

‌Jackson S26 JA1491 Mystique Youth Figure Skates give young beginner skaters a comfortable and supportive platform for their first figure skating lessons and early technical development. The updated 2026 Mystique combines a light Support Rating of 10 with a premium microfiber upper and improved cushioning around the ankle and Achilles area, helping younger skaters move naturally while still receiving the support needed for learning. A Flex Notch, padded comfort tongue, and three upper lacing hooks make it easier to achieve controlled ankle movement and a secure fit, while the Ultima Mark IV blade provides a suitable setup for learning edges, turns, and basic figure skating elements.

Boot / Support: The JA1491 has a Support Rating of 10, providing light support suited to younger beginner skaters while retaining the flexibility needed for natural knee and ankle movement.

Upper / Collar: Premium microfiber upper features a new rolled collar with additional cushioning and support around the Achilles tendon for improved comfort during lessons.

Liner: Updated grey synthetic lining provides a soft, durable interior designed for regular beginner skating sessions.

Ankle Padding: Soft padding around the collar and Achilles area improves comfort and helps support the rear of the foot without making the boot excessively rigid.

Tongue: Foam-backed vinyl and mesh comfort tongue with a padded topline helps distribute lace pressure and reduce irritation around the lower leg.

Lacing: Traditional lacing with three upper hooks makes it easier to adjust tension around the ankle and achieve a secure fit.

Flex: Flex Notch construction encourages natural forward ankle movement and helps young skaters develop proper knee bend and basic edge control.

Outsole: Updated PVC outsole provides a durable, easy-care base and a stable mounting platform for the blade.

Blade: Ultima Mark IV chrome blade uses an Argon-welded construction and is attached with screws. It provides an appropriate progression platform for learning edge control, turns, and introductory figure skating elements and is supplied factory sharpened.

Design: Decorative crystals add a subtle visual accent to the traditional white figure skate appearance.

Fit / Level: Designed for young beginners starting regular figure skating lessons and developing their first technical skills. The Youth/Girls version uses a C-width fit.
