Jackson S26 JA1490 Mystique Figure Skates

‌Jackson S26 JA1490 Mystique Figure Skates are designed for women and girls beginning figure skating lessons and developing their first technical skills on the ice. The updated 2026 Mystique combines light support with a premium microfiber upper, softer ankle construction, and improved cushioning around the Achilles area to create a comfortable platform for regular lessons. A Flex Notch and three upper lacing hooks help developing skaters achieve natural ankle movement and a secure fit, while the Ultima Mark IV blade provides a progression-focused setup for learning edges, turns, basic rotations, and early figure skating elements.

Boot / Support: The JA1490 provides light Support Rating 15 for the women's model, offering enough structure for beginner figure skating while retaining the flexibility needed to learn proper knee and ankle movement.

Upper / Collar: Premium microfiber upper features an updated rolled collar with additional cushioning and support around the Achilles tendon for improved comfort during regular lessons.

Liner: Updated grey synthetic lining provides a soft, durable interior suited to frequent beginner skating sessions.

Ankle Padding: Soft padding around the collar and Achilles area improves comfort and helps create a supportive fit around the rear of the foot.

Tongue: Foam-backed vinyl and mesh comfort tongue with a padded topline helps distribute lace pressure and reduce irritation against the lower leg.

Lacing: Traditional lacing with three upper hooks makes it easier to adjust tension around the ankle and achieve a secure, controlled fit.

Flex: Flex Notch construction encourages natural forward ankle movement and helps developing skaters achieve the knee bend needed for basic edge work and figure skating technique.

Outsole: Updated PVC outsole provides a durable, easy-care base and a stable mounting platform for the blade.

Blade: Ultima Mark IV chrome blade is attached with screws and uses an Argon-welded construction. It provides a suitable progression platform for learning edge control, turns, and introductory figure skating elements and is supplied factory sharpened.

Design: Decorative crystals at the rear of the boot add a subtle elegant accent to the traditional white figure skate appearance.

Fit / Level: Intended for beginner and developing figure skaters moving from recreational skating into regular lessons. The women's model uses a C-width fit.
