CCM S26 FTW JOCK PANT Senior Jock is part of FTW, CCM's line for women hockey players, and it is a cut-protection base layer pant with an integrated jill, made for women rather than resized from a men's pant. The grey panels on the legs are not decoration: they are the cut-resistant zones, rated ANSI Level 6 and placed on the inside of the thighs and the back of the leg.

For a lot of women who came to hockey as adults, the early days meant borrowing whatever fitted best and hoping for the rest. Gear from a dedicated women's line takes some of that guesswork away. CCM's new jill is built in, the waistband adds protection of its own, and TACKS hook-and-loop tabs hold your socks. A short 61 cm (24") inseam keeps fabric from bunching inside your hockey pants, and gel on the front of the leg sits where the shin guards rest.

AER-TEC ventilation helps on hard shifts, and Polygiene keeps odour under control. After the skate, turn it right side out, hang it up and let it breathe; a well-cared-for base layer will last you many seasons of Thursday nights.
