CCM S26 FTW JOCK PANT Junior Jock

CCM S26 FTW JOCK PANT Junior Jock is CCM's FTW line, made for women hockey players, brought to girls on junior teams: a cut-protection base layer pant with CCM's new jill built in. The grey panels down the legs mark the cut-resistant zones, which carry an ANSI Level 3 rating in this junior version and cover the inner thighs and the backs of the legs.

That detail can mean more than parents expect. Girls who play on mixed teams are often surrounded by equipment designed with boys in mind, and having a piece from a line created for female players sends a quiet message that hockey is just as much hers. It also keeps the morning simple: one fitted layer with the jill already in place, then shin guards, socks fastened to the TACKS hook-and-loop tabs, and skates.

Those grey panels also make it easy to spot in a pile of black kit on the bench, a small mercy after a long tournament day. Polygiene helps against odour, but wash it after each week of practices anyway and hang it to dry rather than putting it on the heater, and it will see her through the season.
