CCM GJ 1.9 Intermediate Hockey Goalie Jock

CCM GJ 1.9 Intermediate Hockey Goalie Jock is the Intermediate version of CCM's GJ 1.9, meant for the stage between junior and senior when a goalie needs more room at the waist but not full adult sizing. The wide abdominal panel with its red band extends coverage over the stomach and hips, which become bigger targets as shots get harder in older age groups.

An intermediate goalie jock is often the right call for older teens and slim adults. If you are between sizes, crouch into your stance and check the cup: it should stay centred and not press into your thighs.

It is worn under the goalie pants. Airing it out after every practice and drying it at room temperature keeps the padding in shape longer.
