Description / Brians GSP2 Senior Goalie Stick
Brians GSP2 Senior Goalie Stick is built for goalies who want steady control, a consistent feel, and durability that can handle heavy ice time. For adult goalies, it combines hand-selected Aspen with a foam-core paddle and blade, helping stick work feel responsive while keeping puck contact more predictable when the pace rises. With 12K carbon reinforcement on the shooter side, layered glass protection, and woven-glass skins in key wear areas, the GSP2 is made to take repeated impacts while still giving the paddle extra whip for active puck play.
Construction: Hand-selected Aspen is used as the base to keep the stick light and lively in the hands while still delivering a solid, traditional feel through contact and crease traffic.
Paddle: Foam urethane inside the paddle creates a foam-core build for a smoother, more damped response, while 10 ends of 12K carbon on the shooter side reinforce the impact face for a firmer, more stable reaction.
Blade: Foam urethane inside the blade continues the foam-core setup so hard rim stops and quick passes feel more controlled, while the outer laminate layers help the blade stand up to repeated ice contact and puck impact.
Puck Handling Notes: With no carbon laid on the reverse side of the paddle, the construction is designed to create more whip when playing the puck, helping clears and quick outlets come off the stick with more life.
Durability / High-Wear Zones: The paddle uses a 0.45 mm glass laminate on the shooter side, the blade adds a 0.3 mm black epoxy glass laminate, and a 19.2 oz woven glass cloth skin reinforces the blade in wear-heavy areas where chips, slashes, and ice abrasion build up over time.
