Vaughn VKP SLR2 Senior Goalie Knee Protectors are second-generation SLR knee and thigh guards in adult size, a solid choice for adult goalies who play regularly, from club teams to amateur leagues. Their pro four-section design divides the guard into parts that move with the leg, and the wrap-around shape protects the inner and outer knee as well as the lower thigh.

Vaughn added extra cushioning at the knee, which matters when your knees meet the ice hundreds of times per practice. Molded high-density polyethylene components spread out the impact of pucks, and the nylon exterior is built to last.

The guard stays put with four adjustable straps and urethane grip strips on the top thigh elastic. To check the size, kneel in your butterfly: the knee should rest in the centre of the cushioned zone without the guard rotating.
