Description / CCM Compr Shorts Jock Junior Jock
CCM Compr Shorts Jock Junior Jock are compression shorts with the jock already built in, made for junior players who would rather keep their knees and calves free under the pads. A red CCM waistband, tabs on the legs for fastening socks and a short leg cut round out the design. Inside the waistband there is a heat-transfer label for your child's name and number, which saves a lot of arguing in a dressing room full of identical shorts.
Parents often ask us whether shorts or a full-length pant is the better buy. Honestly, it depends on the kid. Some players run hot and hate an extra layer under their shin guards; for them, shorts feel lighter and are quicker to get into. Others like the coverage. If your child comes off the ice red-faced and soaked, shorts are a sensible place to start.
On a tournament weekend with three games in two days, pack a plastic bag for the wet gear and hang the shorts up by their locker room hook at the hotel between games. They will not be bone-dry by morning, but the breathable mesh and odour-resistant fabric make them far nicer to pull on again.
