Bauer S26 GSX Junior Goalie Glove Catcher is the junior size of Bauer's recreational-level GSX catcher, a good step for a teenage goalie who has outgrown a youth glove and is starting to face harder shots. Bauer sums up the GSX as easy on goalies and tough on opponents, and in the junior size that means a glove that closes without a fight even for a hand that is still building strength.

The closure runs finger to thumb, the way the hand naturally squeezes, which makes the catching motion easy to learn and repeat. The new Fused Double T-Trap with Supreme coverage gives a wide catching area, so more shots end up in the pocket. The cuff and palm protection are both reinforced for the faster shots that come with older age groups, the Free-Flex backcover cuff keeps the wrist free to move, and the NASH + Grip palm liner holds the hand in place.

At this age the hand changes quickly, so check the fit at the start of each season: the hand should sit deep in the glove and the adjustable wrist strap should close snugly. Available in Regular only, worn on the left hand.
