Bauer S26 GSX Intermediate Goalie Glove Catcher is the intermediate GSX, Bauer's recreational-level catcher sold under the slogan “Easy on goalies. Tough on opponents.” It gives pro-level coverage yet closes with little effort, which matters for a goalie whose hand strength is still developing. Intermediate sizing bridges Junior and Senior with the same glove in smaller hand dimensions, for teens moving up and adults with smaller hands.

The closure runs finger to thumb, the way the hand closes naturally. Bauer's new Fused Double T-Trap with Supreme coverage shapes the pocket, and reinforcement in the cuff and palm absorbs the shots. The Free-Flex backcover cuff gives the wrist room, and the NASH + Grip liner keeps the hand from slipping.

It works well as a first catcher for a goalie stepping up to harder, faster shots. Pull the adjustable wrist strap snug, and before buying, check that the hand sits deep. It is available in Regular only, worn on the left hand.
