Vaughn VTG2000 Goalie Throat Protector

Vaughn VTG2000 Goalie Throat Protector is Vaughn's standard throat guard, an injection-moulded polycarbonate plate that hangs below the goalie mask. Polycarbonate gives the guard a precise shape and strength, and the polished mould keeps it clear, so you can follow the puck through it.

The contoured shape is more than styling: it adds strength, spreads the shock of a hit and extends the coverage over the neck and chin. A flared chin lets the plate sit tighter against the lower neck and chest, which closes the gap a puck could otherwise find.

Mounting clips and attachment laces come in the box. It is a dependable everyday choice for goalies who want a clear plate in front of the throat. Replace the laces as soon as they look worn.
