Howies Skate Lube Skates Runner Wax

Howies Skate Lube Skates Runner Wax is a finishing aid for skate sharpeners, not something you put on a stick. Applied to the blade before the final pass of the sharpening wheel, it helps leave a smooth finish on the edges.

That makes it a product for whoever stands at the machine: a pro shop, a club's equipment manager or a hockey parent who sharpens the family's skates at home. Keep it next to the sharpener so it becomes a fixed step of the routine, and be sure to wipe the blades clean before the skates go on the ice.
