Bauer S25 940 Junior Goalie Mask

Bauer S25 940 Junior Goalie Mask is the Bauer 940 mask made for teenage goalies, in one junior size. Shell, liner and harness come straight from the adult 940 – full fiberglass, comfort foam with an IX FOAM layer, PROFILE Pro straps and a Thermocore Zero sweatband – while the cage is a certified junior wire with straight bars.

For a teenager who trains with a club several times a week, the certified cage matters, because youth hockey requires it. The deep-fit stretch chin cup and the adjustable harness keep the mask steady through repeated butterfly drops.

Teens grow quickly, so check the fit at the start of every season: the mask should stay put when the head turns, the chin should sit in the cup and the eyes in the middle of the cage opening. Once the junior size is outgrown, the natural next step is a senior 940.
