Description / Bauer Modular Training center Defender Trainers
Bauer Modular Training Center Defender is a hockey training tool designed to bring more game-like situations into individual skill sessions. The adjustable stick blade can be positioned at different angles, allowing players to practice working around an opponent’s stick, lifting the blade and battling for puck control. It can also be incorporated into faceoff drills, making it useful for developing puck-winning skills and reactions in situations where stick position matters.
Stick-Lift Training: The Defender provides a fixed opposing stick that players can use to practice lifting an opponent’s blade and gaining control of the puck during situational drills.
Faceoff Practice: The trainer is designed for faceoff exercises, giving players an obstacle that helps reproduce the stick contact and positioning found during puck battles at the faceoff dot.
Adjustable Blade Angle: The stick blade angle can be changed to create different training situations and better represent the varying stick positions a player may encounter during a game.
On-Ice and Off-Ice Use: The Defender can be incorporated into training both on the ice and on suitable off-ice surfaces, allowing the same situational exercises to be practiced in different environments.
Modular System: It can be combined with other Bauer Modular Training Center components to create more varied passing, stickhandling and situational training setups.
Base Sold Separately: A Bauer Modular Training Center Base is required for the modular setup and is not included with the Defender.
Use: Suitable for hockey players looking to practice stick battles, stick lifts, faceoffs and puck-control situations in more game-like training drills.
