Bauer GOALIE THROAT PROTECTOR Senior Goalie Throat Protector

Bauer GOALIE THROAT PROTECTOR Senior Goalie Throat Protector is a clear plastic plate that hangs from the bottom of your goalie mask and shields the throat from pucks and sticks. Bauer keeps the design classic: a simple, transparent shape that protects the neck without blocking your view when you look down at a puck at your feet.

Because it is fixed to the mask, the throat protector moves with your head. That makes it a useful first layer in front of the neck, and most goalies combine it with a soft neck guard under the chest protector for cut protection.

It suits adult goalies who want an extra barrier for the throat area. Attach it to the lower holes of the mask's chin with laces or clips, and leave enough play that it swings freely rather than pressing against the chest when you drop into the butterfly.
