Bauer Youth Suspenders

Bauer Youth Suspenders are the answer to a problem every parent of a small hockey player knows: little kids have hardly any hips, so hockey pants have nothing to hang on. Halfway through practice the pants are down around the thighs and your child is skating along with one hand trying to pull them up.

These black suspenders attach to the pants with their loop ends and go over the shoulders, so the pants stay put however many times the kids fall, roll over and get up again in a drill. Young players fall a lot, and that is a good thing; it is just easier when their gear stays where it should while they do it.

Put the suspenders on the pants before the session, at home if you can, to take some of the rush out of the dressing room. The straps go under the shoulder pads. Kids usually stop noticing them after a few skates. Pick between the S-M and L-XL youth sizes by your child’s current build rather than by age.
