Vaughn KP SLR Intermediate Goalie Knee Protectors are low-profile knee and thigh guards in Intermediate size, a fit for goalies in the stage between junior and adult equipment. Vaughn kept the design light on bulk: the contoured knee section has a dimensional shape that follows the joint closely, which leaves room for the knee cradle of your leg pads and keeps movement easy.

A molded plastic plate protects the thigh, and layers of internal foam soften the impact when you land on the ice. Because the knee and thigh pieces are connected by elastic rather than a rigid joint, the guard follows full flexion in the butterfly and during recovery.

Knee and thigh straps adjust independently, and grip strips on the upper elastic help hold position. When trying them on, wear your goalie pants too, so the thigh plate and the pants overlap without pinching.
