‌Vaughn ION PRO Select Senior Goalie Leg Pads use a rigid Carbon Core and composite-reinforced face to deliver powerful rebounds and dependable coverage along the ice. The stiff thigh rise helps the pads keep their shape and close the space between the legs, while the softer, scoop-shaped boot gives the ankles more freedom when working around the posts. A directly integrated knee block, QuickSlide inner surface and adjustable RRC+ calf straps support stable landings, fast lateral movement and controlled pad rotation.

Outer Finish: The flat face provides an even surface for puck contact and helps produce strong, lively rebounds. A solid outer roll with a low-profile bevel maintains the pad’s stiffness while reducing the chance of pucks skipping over the outside edge.

Internal Construction: Carbon Core combines dense foams with composite layers for a firm, responsive feel. The reinforced construction helps the pads retain their shape during regular use and provides direct rebound response when the puck strikes the face.

Flex Profile: The stock setup combines a stiff, single-break thigh rise with a softer boot. The upper section remains stable when the goaltender drops to the ice, while the more flexible lower section supports natural ankle movement and easier positioning at the posts.
