CCM 3D SISU Senior Mouth Guard is for the player who has gone through a drawer full of mouth guards and is still looking for one that feels right. Its 3D-shaped, perforated design follows the curve of the teeth rather than sitting as a flat strip, and like other SISU guards it is mouldable, so the final fit is made around your own bite. It is 2.4 mm thick on the outside where hits land and 1.6 mm on the inside for comfort, and the perforations let you take a drink without pulling it out.

Think of the moment before a big game: stick taped, laces tight, helmet on the bench beside you. The last thing you want is a guard that pushes your lip out or makes you clench. A shaped, open design is aimed at exactly that, so your mind stays on the faceoff instead of your mouth.

Give the moulding a few calm minutes, check the edges with your tongue and rinse it after every skate. It sits nicely alongside a visor or half shield, where the mouth is still open to sticks and pucks coming up from below.
